Description: The ruins of Babylon, concentrating on the Temple of E'Sagilo and the basalt lion statue, including some close-up views of relief carvings and mouldings. This is followed by a panorama of Baghdad, from the River Tigris inland, taken from a high point, probably the Tower of Seria. Local inhabitants load mules with grain and lead them out of the city. The film ends with British gunners repairing a captured Turkish gun, probably an anti-aircraft gun of an obsolete design.
The ruins of Babylon and the town of Baghdad under British occupation, 1918 (?).
